Package: fontconfig Version: 2.4.1-2 I don't install defoma, normally, because i don't want to drift too far away from the various distributions mainstream. Recently i installed fontconfig, on recommendation from someone using freerock / slackware, to try if that could improve things a little bit. Now i see it automatically installed defoma. fontconfig depends on defoma, but there's no important reason. It can run very well without defoma. It should only suggest.
