Package: phpmyadmin Version: 4:2.8.2-0.2 Severity: normal I don't quite understand what's happening. But after some headbanging, I found that phpmyadmin wasn't reading /etc/phpmyadmin/config.inc.php at all!
Touching /usr/share/phpmyadmin/config.inc.php solves the problem until the next modification; it seems that if this file is newer, the one at /etc is ignored. I really don't understand why. I could reproduce this behauvoir in two different hosts. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-k7 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages phpmyadmin depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.5 Debian configuration management sy ii php5-cgi 5.1.6-1 server-side, HTML-embedded scripti ii php5-mysql 5.1.6-1 MySQL module for php5 ii ucf 2.0015 Update Configuration File: preserv Versions of packages phpmyadmin recommends: ii apache2 2.0.55-4.1 next generation, scalable, extenda ii apache2-mpm-worker [httpd] 2.0.55-4.1 high speed threaded model for Apac pn php5-gd | php4-gd <none> (no description available) pn php5-mcrypt | php4-mcrypt <none> (no description available) -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
