Dear Maintainers,
it seems to me that the changelog.Debian, though not
explicitly telling me so, already in
0.95+cvs20040624-11
implemented a remedy for #257616. For certain, my
present version 0.95+...-17sarge1 has implemented
the expected link-handling for
/boot/vmlinuz and /vmlinuz.old
inside the script update-grub.
This particular bug-thread should in practice be
regarded as closable and thus be archived.
