Package: ethstatus Version: 0.4.2-2 Severity: normal After using ethtool in a german locale, all umlaute (and ß) are replaced by greek characters or symbols, e.g. ö is replaced by ÷. This seems to be some font mapping, because when I copy and paste this into another virtual terminal (where I type this bug report) then they are printend fine (i.e. not replaced).
Issuing "reset" fixes the issue.
