Hmm, I installed 0.10.0-1 and played around with it a bit. It seems that
with this version the checkbox in kdesvn actually works...

I then downgraded to 0.9.3 again to verify that it doesn't work there
and now I don't get a message box at all (after exiting X11 and
restarting it again). Also I still see the kdesvnd listed under the
permanent running daemons with 0.9.3 (even though the desktop file says
autoload=true).

I'll try to do some more tests with a non-kde-environment tomorrow.
