Package: dmraid Version: 0.9.9+1.0.0.rc9-3.1 Severity: important
When running dmraid -ay it fails to activate my raid array with this error: device-mapper: dm-stripe: Target length not divisible by chunk size device-mapper: error adding target to table The bug has been fixed in the 1.0.0.rc11 version of the software available at http://people.redhat.com/~heinzm/sw/dmraid/. It would be great if this package could be updated to the latest version of this software so that I can get my nvraid array working complete with initrd support. ;-) Thanks!! I have tested this newer version personally and it works for me. I haven't had a chance to see about patching it with the ramdisk support though so I don't know if that patch will apply cleanly or not. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-amd64 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages dmraid depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdevmapper1.02 2:1.02.08-1 The Linux Kernel Device Mapper use ii libselinux1 1.30.28-2 SELinux shared libraries ii lsb-base 3.1-15 Linux Standard Base 3.1 init scrip dmraid recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
