Package: id3v2
Version: 0.1.11-1
Severity: normal
id3v2 --help gives:
... You can set the value for any id3v2 frame by using '--' and then frame id
For example: id3v2 --TIT3 "Monkey!" file.mp3
This does not seem to work for unsynchronized lyrics (USLT), if the text
contains ":" characters.
I suppose that when using id3v2 --USLT "string", it is assumed
that string has the format "descr:text:LNG", where LNG is probably
a 3 character language description such as ENG.
(I am just guessing, this is not documented in the man page.)
In this case it is not clear how to add text containing a ":"
character. Maybe it can be escaped somehow, but again I do not know
how. \: does not work.
