Package: bristol Version: 0.9.1-11 Severity: wishlist Wow, I never realised quite how many packages you maintained. Please excuse the spamminess of all this, There is a purpose in all this. :-)
I notice that bristol lacks a menu file and an icon. For the Debian package please could you create a 32x32 pixel XPM in /usr/share/pixmaps/bristol.xpm and create the file /usr/lib/menu/bristol which might look something like this: ?package(bristol):needs="x11" section="Apps/Sound" \ title="Bristol synth" command="/usr/bin/bristol" \ icon="/usr/share/pixmaps/bristol.xpm" For more information, please refer to the updated Debian Policy: http://www.debian.org/doc/packaging-manuals/menu.html/ch3.html#s3.7 This will ensure that your nice icon shows up in most menus. If you're not graphically inclined, I'm prepared to create a suitable icon and submit a menufile patch into the bargain. Please email me with your requirements if this is the case. Thanks for taking the time to deal with this, and thanks for all the effort you have put in to maintaining great free software. tim hall AGNULA/DeMuDi menu monitor -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (101, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.10-1-multimedia-686 Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_GB) Versions of packages bristol depends on: ii libasound2 1.0.8-3 ALSA library ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20.demudi1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libx11-6 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Window System protocol client li ii xlibs 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 X Keyboard Extension (XKB) configu -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
