Package: sysv-rc-bootsplash
Version: 1.0.3-1
Severity: minor

Hi,

Having a look at your templates file, I have the following comments:
* sysv-rc-bootsplash/info
  This template does not seem to be used, and if it were, it would be a
  Debconf abuse:
  - Your /etc/init.d/rc and /etc/init.d/rcS files will be patched
    to operate correctly with bootsplash.
       should be removed
  - Do not edit them after patching; if you do, upon removal this package
    will not be able to restore the original files.
       belongs to the online documentation (README.Debian, for example)
  - If you have already editied your rc and rcS files and the patch fails,
    you will be notified, and your rc and rcS files will not be changed.
      should be removed (information already contain in case the patch
      fails)
  - You should also install the bootsplash package with this one.
      information already present in the "Recommends" field.

* sysv-rc-bootsplash/failed
  This template is commented in the postinst script. Are you going to
  use it in future versions? If yes, you should use the "error" type
  instead of the "note" type. Otherwise, please remove it so that
  translators do not translate it.

* sysv-rc-bootsplash/failed-removal
  This template should be an "error" instead of a "note".

Cheers,
