Package: hotplug Version: 0.0.20040329-22 Severity: normal Hi, Abusing /etc/hotplug/.run as storage for a "runtime" control file maybe even violates some policy. Such files should go to /var/run IMHO. Some programs running early during boot use /lib/progname, which probably is okay, /lib being guaranteed available early during boot. Anyway, this makes hotplug incompatible with SELinux, unless someone writes a policy that allows the hotplug init script to write there. And convinces upstream that this policy addition is a good idea.
