The script integrates with web browsers at mime type level, using shared-mime-info. DWAI stands for "Debian Web AutoInstaller", that is a set of tools to help deb package deployment and client side installation directly from the website where they are published. In short, someone builds a DWAI file for a deb package, then he deploys the DWAI file in a web page (not necessarily at the same website of the package) along with a "Install now!" button or link. Final users click the "Install now!" link in their browser, the browser receives the DWAI file and launches the dwai-client script (thanks to shared-mime-info). The dwai-client script parses the DWAI file and takes any action required to install the deb package. This package contains the client side bash script.
