Package: fvwm-crystal Version: 3.0.3-3.1 Severity: normal Hello Michael,
fvwm-crystal menu-method is supposed to work for non-root user, it has: # runnable as user, but will exit with error if debian Application subdir not # writeable (masked out by user) userprefix=".fvwm/Applications"); (BTW, the closing parens is spurious) but then I get error messages: convert: unable to open image `/var/lib/fvwm-crystal/icons/Default/22x22/apps/flying -snooker.png': Permission denied. I suppose this come from the script /usr/share/fvwm-crystal/debian/createicon.sh. By the way, would you be interested in making something like createicon.sh a more general mechanism for menu-methods ? The shell() built-in was originally added for that purpose.
