Package: beidgui
Version: 2.5.9-4
Severity: normal

I can't read my EID card with the 'beidgui' program. After clicking the 'read
card' button, it chickens out with the following error message:

  "Error : Wrong Root Certificate"

My cardreader is detected correctly and beid-tool can read the information.

Running (or not) beidpcscd and beidcrld -- if they do anything at all -- makes
no difference.

(So far, the quality of the Belgium EID software quite typically lives up to my
extremely low expectations.)

PS: I think 'beidgui' needs to have at least 'openct' added to its dependencies.
