Package: mozilla-browser Version: 1.7.8-1sarge7.2.1 Severity: important After having upgrading Mozilla (Suite) due to DSA 1160-1, the application freezes when I visit Google Maps, <http://www.google.com/maphp?hl=en&tab=wl&q=>. I am forced to kill & restart Mozilla to get it functioning again. Sometimes, Mozilla will freeze before it event starts to render the Google Maps page, but most of the time it will freeze after rendering the text around where the map would go.
I confirmed this is only a problem with the mozilla-browser version released due to that DSA 1160-1. I downloaded the previous version I had been using (from DSA 1118-1) and installed it, and it worked fine with Google Maps. === > wget -nd -P ~ \ > http://archive.progeny.com/debian/pool/main/m/mozilla/mozilla-browser_1.7.8-1sarge7.1_i386.deb === > dpkg -i --force-downgrade mozilla-browser_1.7.8-1sarge7.1_i386.deb === My Sarge box is up to date with all security-released packages, though I am using a 2.4 kernel.
