here is how I checked: - fetched the 1.4.2 tarball - copied the debian/ directory from the 1.4.1 deb-source - dch'd... - deleted the patches no longer needed (included upstream) - added the patch you mentioned - built The build ran OK, including the testsuite, so I guess I can confirm that this patch is alright, thanks.
