Package: ssl-cert Version: 1.0.13 Severity: minor As the default openssl config specifies the use of $HOME, when this is not set the openssl call within make-ssl-cert fails.
In the template "/usr/share/ssl-cert/ssleay.cnf" $HOME is used to set RANDFILE, but this is also set by make-ssl-cert before the openssl call, so perhaps the line in the template can simply be removed. Otherwise perhaps HOME=/tmp could be added to the template before the RANDFILE line as a fallback. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-26-k7 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages ssl-cert depends on: ii adduser 3.95 Add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.2 Debian configuration management sy ii openssl 0.9.8b-2 Secure Socket Layer (SSL) binary a ssl-cert recommends no packages. -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
