These workarounds will fail as soon as other computers on the LAN also
use the Internet. (this is also true for wshaper-over-LAN versions)

You have to install wondershaper on the Internet router, not on the
computer(s) behind.  If this is not possible, configure a Linux box on
the LAN as an Internet gateway and install wondershaper there.
