At which level do you think this occurs?
Does this still look like the problem you had back in 2003?

There must be a problem because i don't think that kind of problem
should easily occur without a glitch...

I didn't think about comparing my /proc/sys/kernel/file-{max,nr} and
/proc/sys/kernel/inode-{max,nr}, but i will once i get back home.
