I think the issue with libcairo is solved as it builds fine with the current directfb and the mail from Attilio Fiandrotti mentionned that cairo 1.2.1 would carry the fixes (we have 1.2.2). I've followed the suggestion of backporting the gdk/directfb patches from gtk+ HEAD, and it indeed built fine with current directfb, so I'm going to prepare an upload of gtk with these changes, perhaps only when #383297 comes to a conclusion.
