Package: debian-installer
Version: 20060813 (home build)
Severity: important
Justification: unable to finish installation on low memory computer

Hello,

On a i386 [EMAIL PROTECTED] started debian-installer in low memory mode.
(is a 64Mb computer, so low mem mode is fine)

Network, disk and package handling went fine.

Then a red screen
          [!!] Install the base system
        Unable to install the initramfs-tools
An error was returned while trying to install the initramfs-tools
package onto the target system.

Check /var/log/syslog or see virtual console 4 for the details.

Where 'TS' is Time Stamp.

The installer throwed me back to mainmenu to 'Install the base system'.

(who wishes that package install and kernel install get split)
