[Joseph Smidt] > Well, since then I have discovered nothing detects my cdrom and the > sound does not work very well Do you know what kernel module is needed to support your cdrom and sound card? For the sound card, I suspect snd-intel8x0 or snd-hda-intel, but I need someone to verify this. For the cdrom, I am not sure, but suspect the ata_piix or piix modules would enable proper SATA supprt. Can you tell me if any of these modules solve the problem? Friendly, -- Petter Reinholdtsen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
