Hi there,
I experience a big regression with Firefox from experimental and the
Totem plugin. It seems to boil down to the fact that firefox-bin isn't
linked to libxpcom.so anymore.
The Totem mozilla plugin uses a special trick to avoid depending on a
particular Gecko: it doesn't link to the xulrunner-xpcom, and -plugin
Libs:. Reverting this trick also fixes the problem.
The upstream Totem bug is at:

Upstream will try to get rid of the symbols which were provided by
libxpcom.so.
Is the choice of not linking against libxpcom.so an upstream one?
Perhaps you want to add libxpcom.so to the preloaded libs for backwards
compatibility?
