Please remove ipchains from unstable. It is for 2.2 kernels which Debian
don't support in the other software. There was some sort of
compatibility code in 2.4 which was removed long time ago.
ipchains have two reverse dependencies from ipmasq and ferm, both as
| Depends: iptables | ipchains | ipfwadm
and from psad.
They should go away.
popcon lists it as

As it was in the standard installation for up to woody and sarge for
some arches, the numbers may be missleading.
