Package: libgnupg-perl
Version: 0.9-5
Severity: normal

When I upgrade gnupg to newest available in sarge version, I cannot
decrypt files using GnuPG.

IMO the problem is an effect of change in
upstream version somewhen between 1.2.4 and 1.2.5. Here is the
corresponding entry (from gnupg's upstream changelog):

2004-06-18  David Shaw  <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

        * status.h, status.c (get_status_string), plaintext.c
        (handle_plaintext): New status tags PLAINTEXT and
        PLAINTEXT_LENGTH.

So, current version of libgnupg-perl should have

Depends: gnupg (<1.2.5)

Of course, it will make it uninstallable in sarge, so.... an upstream
change is necessary, I'm affraid.

Richard.
