please try to set MaxTapTime to 110 and MaxTapMove to 100
this could solve your problem!

as i know it sets up a synaptics touchpad when xserver-xorg gets
configured or when doing [dpkg --reconfigure xserver-xorg]. it obviosly
will be a simple implementation to set up two different configurations
for both the synaptics and the alps touchpads, as i can imagine. since i
am still a wannabe-developer i think i am not mature enough fot this
task so if you'd like to distribute in december the xserver-xorg people
should implement this or someone who knows what she/he is doing! :-)
