You mean at the beginning of the line (column 0)?

There is no tab in the initial file, so a more accurate way to put it is
"emacs21 inserts a tab, and emacs-snapshot inserts spaces". Whether or
not that is a bug, I don't know... (tab-width is 8 by default)
