^^^^^^^This is an update failure, sawfish's files moved from i386-pc-linux-gnu to i486-pc-linux-gnu some versions ago. Did you restart sawfish after the update but before trying to run sawfish-ui (sawfish-client -f restart, or use the option in the menu)? Does the bug persist after such restart?
