Exactly. I think localizer has better data for Germany, especially since
it has data on the precision IIRC. However geoip has some "lite" free
interface I think, and AWstats for example can use geoIP I believe. I
think localizer wasn't freely accessible? So it's not an option for me.
It might be sufficient to work on a second-level domain base for my
reasons, though. Especially for the non-geo TLDs. That would limit the
amount of data, work and computation...
