After reading this bug report, I looked into lilo.postinst, and the
only use of "cp" is at:
       cp /usr/share/lilo/*.bmp /boot

If this reports "cp: too many input files", it should be some problem
with that directory on the user's machine.

As the user hasn't replied in the last 40 days, I suggest closing this RC bug.
