Same here. Some more infos. The access_log is no longer just containing
error messages, but:

localhost - - [29/Jul/2006:12:08:50 +0200] "POST / HTTP/1.1" 200 124 Get-Jobs
successful-ok
localhost - - [29/Jul/2006:12:14:19 +0200] "POST / HTTP/1.1" 200 351

So this seems as if it works, but it doesn't. All I have is some
strange processes lying around:

lp 11191 0.0 0.2 3336 1324 ? S 12:00 0:00
ipp://dune.fam-meskes.de:631/printers/LaserJet 166 michael .bash_logout 1
job-priority=50 job-uuid=urn:uuid:3b501797-0141-3eb6-6915-bd0e1ed11965
job-sheets=none,none lease-duration=300 job-hold-until=no-hold
/var/spool/cups/d00166-001
lp 13205 0.0 0.2 3336 1324 ? S 12:19 0:00
ipp://dune.fam-meskes.de:631/printers/LaserJet 169 michael file:/// 1
multiple-document-handling=separate-documents-collated-copies
orientation-requested=3 job-priority=50
job-uuid=urn:uuid:6c00c4fc-8fce-301e-64cd-063a25d57435 job-sheets=none,none
lease-duration=300 job-hold-until=no-hold /var/spool/cups/d00169-001

The server doesn't notice anything according to the logs.

To make things even stranger, the very same setup on the very same
machine works nicely in my office environment with an older cups version
on the server but not on my home setup with 1.2.2 now.
