Hi,
first some more info about this strange behaviour...
* Rules and examples:
When I invoke udev via /etc/init.d/udev (re)start with this "buggy"
rule
[BUS="pci", DRIVER="ipw2100", NAME="ipw2100"]
I get:
mala:~/sourcen# /etc/init.d/udev restart
Recreating device nodes.../etc/init.d/udev: line 216: 13006
Segmentation fault udevstart
mala:~/sourcen#
With this rule
[BUS="pci", ID="0000:02:02.0", NAME="ipw2100"]
everything works like expected.
* Versions:
Package: udev
Version: 0.054-2
Versions of packages udev depends on:
ii hotplug 0.0.20040329-17 Linux Hotplug Scripts
ii initscripts 2.86.ds1-1 Standard scripts needed for bootin
ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an
ii makedev 2.3.1-75 Creates device files in /dev
* Retrying with debug symbols:
Don't know how to enable debugging symbols, can't find it in rules.
Please let me know how to enable them...
greetings,
thomas
