Oh dear, another symlink staleness issue. On my system, upgraded from older
Debian R installations, it is a file

So I guess I need to remove this on preinst.
In the .deb, I see that I have

-> ../../../lib/R/doc
and I guess your bug report is about this directory now being
/usr/share/R/doc, correct?
