I mirror every night with the following to my local disk using cron:
debmirror /mirror/debian --nosource \
--host=ftp.de.debian.org \
--root=:debian \
--method=rsync \
--progress \
--dist=sarge\
--dist=sid \
--dist=sarge-proposed-updates
But it gives me allways errors like:
waiting for /mirror/debian lock since 20 seconds at
/usr/lib/perl5/LockFile/Simple.pm line 182.
still waiting for /mirror/debian lock after 50 seconds at
/usr/lib/perl5/LockFile/Simple.pm line 182.
still waiting for /mirror/debian lock after 80 seconds at
/usr/lib/perl5/LockFile/Simple.pm line 182.
still waiting for /mirror/debian lock after 110 seconds at
/usr/lib/perl5/LockFile/Simple.pm line 182.
Archive-Update-in-Progress-hathi exists or you lack proper permissions;
aborting at /usr/bin/debmirror line 442.
I tryed to debug this problem but if I do the mirror by hand everythink
goes well...
Funny, the non-US I do bevore works well. It is only the main
distribution which makes problemes.
