Ok, so I decided to move /etc/gnome-vfs-2.0/modules/libntfs.conf/libntfs.conf to /etc/gnome-vfs-2.0/modules/libntfs.conf
and got GNOME back :) together with all my other applications... Thanks for the tip, Gabor! Carlos
