Let me repeat, I don't suggest to throw gccross away. Solutions to the cross-compilation problem have not changed: As yesterday, they are still either to regard DEB_* vars, or to use gccross. My opinion was only about whether gccross should be enabled by default in dpkg-bp, or whether the builder should request its usage explicitly. If you say it's too much work to modify the builder at this time, it's ok with me. > And how will your package find the correct include paths and libraries > if gccross doesn't rewrite them? Autoconf and pkg-config do this for me. With kind regards, Baurzhan. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
