I noticed this when the owner of the files created was wrong.  I
didn't investigate much beyond that to be honest.

I did not try purge + reinstall either.  I probably should have tried
that.

Doing that now shows it is installed *without* the suid bit.

I'm a bit at a loss to explain why it was like this (I'm pretty sure I
would know if I did it) but anyhow, I guess it's a false report so
close this.
