po4a is an utility to make the maintenance of manpages translations easier. For more informations see po4a(7) manpage.
You just have to apply the attached patch to support po4a. After that, when you modifiy the documentation in the perl script, you have to generate a pod file in the man/ directory.
If you receive a new translation, you just have to put de xx.po in the man/po/ directory and add the associated entries in the po4a.cfg file like following: xx:man/manpage.xx.pod add_xx:man/addenum_file.xx
where xx corresponds to the language code.
As I'm not speaking Spanish, the Spanish translation is not generated by default, you should ask the Spanish translator to review the es.po and defuzzing entries.
