No worries on the debian stuff.

I think it's a good plan to release a tarball of the main thing, and then later to update the
        * debian
        * fink
        * darwinport
since the latter may contain MD5 values for the tarball, and of course the MD5 changes if these packaging files are changed.

I learned how to do darwinport on my OSX box and it's a lot easier than Fink.

Later today I'll send you and everyone a copy of the letter that I sent to CFCAS saying "yes, we'd like to get the money". First I want to get a reply from her, so that I'll know it went through the email without getting discarded. (Over 95% of emails entering Dal are spam. And about 1/2 of the ones that get through that filter are still spam. Sheesh.)

I'll try using the CVS system again later this weekend. Maybe it's a
temporary problem on that site. When I can access the CVS, I'll
update it there, and then build another .tgz file. From that, Peter
may (if he is willing and has time) build up another debian package.

Will do. Sorry I didn't check my email quickly enough to merge in the
changes to the debian/changelog file before the new version was
created. I was in Quebec City over the weekend.
