I tried rebuilding the package in an updated pbuilder, and it built
correctly.
The problem would seem to be with the package libsm-dev, that includes
libSM.so
Depending on libgtk2.0-dev pulls in libcairo2-dev, which pulls in
libsm-dev (for all archs except hurd-i386). This was fixed a couple of
days ago, to fix #377259.
So, right now, thewidgetfactory should build correctly in all arches except
for hurd-i386. Therefore, I'm reassigning to libcairo, which was the one
at fault, and closing the bug, since it wasn't there anymore.
