Control: retitle -1 RFS: patch-manager/0.7.0-1 [ITP] -- create, check
and email patch series with Patchwork integration

Hi,

This replaces the details in my original request, which are out of date.

Package name: patch-manager
Version: 0.7.0-1
Upstream contact: Simon Glass <[email protected]>
URL: https://github.com/deinde-dev/patman
License: GPL-2+
Vcs: https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/packages/patch-manager
Section: vcs

dget -x
https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/p/patch-manager/patch-manager_0.7.0-1.dsc

The packaging is now in the Python Team, with the branches
debian/master, upstream and pristine-tar.

It installs only the 'patch-manager' command, not 'patman', since
/usr/bin/patman is already used by the PatMaN aligner in Debian.

It depends on python3-u-boot-pylib (RFS #1150636), which needs to be
uploaded first. The upstream tests now run at build time, so the build
needs it too. Until it is in the archive, Salsa CI fails at the build
jobs and skips the rest.

I tested it on sid with a local build of python3-u-boot-pylib. It
builds as non-root with no network, and the tests pass on Python 3.14
and 3.15 (529 passed, 20 skipped), both at build time and under
autopkgtest. Lintian on sid gives no errors or warnings. I have not
run piuparts. The lintian on mentors warns that Priority is missing.

The optional AI-review feature needs claude-agent-sdk, which is not in
Debian, so it is not pulled in. The rest of the tool works without it.

Please could someone review and sponsor it, once u-boot-pylib is in?

Regards,
Simon
