Hi, A short follow-up to my previous mail: I have now built btmon from the bluez-5.87 release tarball, with and without 6475b75e7e, using -fsanitize=address,undefined. Both configure and "make monitor/btmon" succeed, and there are no warnings or errors in monitor/packet.c with the patch applied.
I did not run a crafted capture, so the runtime before/after check is still the one in the upstream commit message. Regards
