It allows ports of a PDU managed by pdudaemon to be switched on, off or rebooted. The source package also builds pducli, a small command-line tool which uses the library to switch PDU ports from the shell or from scripts. This crate is a dependency of boardswarm, which I intend to package. pdudaemon itself is already in Debian, and pducli is a lightweight way to drive it. The package will be maintained within the Debian Rust team using debcargo-conf.
