Hi,

Looking at the last (failed) run of the autopkgtest of snuffleupagus
with php8.6 from experimental [1], there seems to be at least an
incompatibility with the php_hash_bin2hex function.

There is a new upstream release available that may address the issue.
Also, the package may need a rebuild with the new PHP version anyway.

Please note that the binary package name does not look in line with the
usual extensions names (php-snuffleupagus instead of
php8.4-snuffleupagus), and that the package is not maintained inside the
Debian PHP PECL Maintainers team, you may wish to address that too.

Regards,

taffit
