As I understand it, moving aliases.db elsewhere (and adjusting $alias_*
accordingly) will merely result in newaliases being run at every
upgrade, and the rm -f becoming a noop (which, if this was merely a fix
for #99165, surely won't be missed).
In fact, now that postinst runs newaliases instead of postalias, is
there any reason why moving /etc/aliases elsewhere (leaving a synlink
behind) wouldn't work? I used to do this a long time ago, but got tired
of postinst messing things up; I think it's time I give it a try again.
