Control: reassign -1 python3-opentelemetry-exporter-otlp-proto-http 1.45.1-1
Control: retitle -1 python3-opentelemetry-exporter-otlp-proto-http: No module
named 'opentelemetry.exporter.otlp.common'
Control: affects -1 + src:fastapi
Hi,
I'm reassigning this bug to python3-opentelemetry-exporter-otlp-proto-http: the
ModuleNotFoundError comes from the exporter itself, so it can't be imported
at all in sid, not only by the fastapi tests:
$ python3 -c 'import opentelemetry.exporter.otlp.proto.http.trace_exporter'
[...]
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'opentelemetry.exporter.otlp.common'
Upstream 1.45.1 added two dependencies to opentelemetry-exporter-otlp-proto-http
(exporter/opentelemetry-exporter-otlp-proto-http/pyproject.toml):
"opentelemetry-exporter-otlp-common == 0.66b1",
"opentelemetry-exporter-http-transport[requests] == 0.66b1",
Both are in the same upstream tree (exporter/opentelemetry-exporter-otlp-common
and exporter/opentelemetry-exporter-http-transport, providing
opentelemetry.exporter.otlp.common and opentelemetry.exporter.http.transport),
but debian/rules doesn't build them, so no 1.45.1-1 binary ships those modules.
fastapi 0.143.3-1 will skip the affected tests until this is fixed.
Regards,
Sandro
