Package: coreutils
Version: 9.4-3.1
Severity: normal

Not for immediate action, just to keep a record of it for the case if
someone will eventually push it through.

Way to reproduce:

$ TZ=Europe/Helsinki date -d '1942-04-03'

The same spell works for 1942-04-02 and 1942-04-04.

Similar problem as in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=695005
(from 2012) still reproducible via
$ TZ=Europe/Budapest date -d '1954-05-23'

The workarounds in that report are still valid.
TL;DR: use 'date -u' instead of just 'date'.

Thank you!

BR,
Rostislav
