It was then returned back to github.com/jlaffaye/ftp in https://github.com/rclone/rclone/commit/c979cde002597d287f3dc560b9dbefc6c9d26f08 There is little discussion in the commit comments about the jumps between jlaffaye/ftp and rclone/ftp. But judging by discussion in https://github.com/rclone/rclone/issues/6879 it looks like rclone made a fork temporarily until jlaffaye/ftp fixed the problems reported. All this nonsense with the forked rclone/ftp implementation happened between v1.58.0 and v1.63.1. rclone has been back to jlaffaye/ftp since v1.64.0 rclone seems to be done with their ftp fork now, so should be safe to remove golang-github-rclone-ftp
