Package: ftpd-ssl
Version: 0.17.36+really0.17-5
Severity: serious
Justification: required missing

Dear Maintainer,

During install of ftpd, of which ftpd-ssl is a requirement, the ftpd-ssl
postinstall fails on missing update-inetd.

When a package is required to be able to install ftpd-ssl, it should be
a requirement. the inetd package xinetd isn't supported by update-inetd
according to the supplied README.

When the package ftpd is depricated, maybe it's an idea to add an alias
to the preferred ftpd package?
