Well it is then quite hard to distinguish the full title of these tabs. One thing that could be done is to have the full title appear as a tooltip upon mouseover of a tab. Another possibility upon mouseover would be to have the full title appear in the status bar at the bottom of the screen. Also the "..." wastes half the name. One should be allowed to choose just have truncation only. P.S., in Help, Firefox Keyboard Shortcuts doesn't list plain TAB.
