There's good news and bad news. The good news is this bug has been fixed in 0.94beta1.20060611-1. The bad news is it's been fixed by removing the "Home" button. You now have to dive in through three layers of menus to get at what used to be a 1-click operation. Gah. However, it does at least work -- the previous track is no longer left selected when using the function. It is still left selected when the playlist advances, but that's ok because it is de-selected when you select any other track (unless you specifically use ctrl- or shift- to keep it selected).
